If you enable Ajax loading (from the generator Build READ list filter) the select will be loaded without any option available, but a search box. It's really not a good idea if your table has thousands of records. When you add some filters to your READ list, each filter builds a select dropdown that contains as many options as there are records. check the fields that you want to index.open your database manager (phpMyAdmin or other). The MySQL engine is faster and more efficient with indexed fields. This does not concern PHPCG, but directly the structure of your database.Īdd an index to each field that will be used regularly in your queries. PHPCG is able to manage tables containing a large number of records.Ģ parameters are important and allow to optimize the loading of record lists:
The license registration / checking system must be installed and configured on your servers, but cannot be removed under any circumstances. The program must be used exclusively by the web agency for the benefit of its clients.Nevertheless, if you want to benefit from an unlimited license in complete independence, we can offer you a solution, subject to the following conditions and guarantees: The purchase of individual licenses allows you to benefit from the extremely advantageous price of the license sold on Codecanyon. I expect a major update version within the next 6 months, based on the last 12 years of experience. The purchase of a regular license on Codecanyon authorizes the use and access to updates with no time limit. CCS is a lot better than some of the posts here suggest, and it is still active. Of those looked at, these two are the most flexible for a wider range of user skill, from my impressions. After a week or so of testing I will decide which system to use. What I am hoping for is a system ready in the spring. I want to the same sort of thing with SC 8.1 if I buy it, but with even more features. I really extended the CCS project with shopping cart with card processing, creating documents for registering tours with immigration, printing tickets online, passport data collection, scheduling guides, transportation, print out a on-the-fly tour booklet based on the itinerary for the specific tour, and a private messaging system. So far I like the interface and easy incorporation of AJAX but for some often repeated tasks there are a lot more steps to created a customized editable grid or record form. For those working with a variety of scripting languages, CCS is very flexible, being able to create different ports of the same project easily.
But it looks good and will use the trial period to get a handle on it before buying it. I am still working with demos and trying to learn SC and think the learning curve is going to be longer than CCS. I am starting a new similar project for a new incoming tour operator so before starting with CCS, I wanted to seek something more modern in presentation. PHPRad is an advanced application development environment capable of generating complete applications in PHP using various databases. I like it a lot but the updates are slow, about 2-3 years apart and a lot changes happen in web commerce in 2-3 years. with CCS, over a number of years of refinement. I am not a programmer but wa was able to create a complex system to run a tour operation.
I have just started testing SC 8.1 after CodeCharge Studio and before that Code Charge when it first came out.
